One is inundated with advertisements in TV about Hair fall Cures, Pimples,Acne and other cosmetics for Men and Women.

That they are harmful, I have posted a detailed article.

These make up preparations are not new to India.

Cosmetology Ancient India.Book.Image.jpg Cosmetology Ancient India.

Sanskrit and Tamil literature  abound in details on this subject and practical tips are available.

A Sample.

Lip balm / lip salve

“Cracked lips, besides being painful, spoil the beauty of the face. The following remedy was recommended in such cases – “If the rind of Bel fruit (Aegle marmelos Corr.) is levigated (i.e. powdered and mixed) in a woman’s milk and the paste thus prepared is applied to the cracked lips, within 10 days the cracking will stop and the cracks will heal[5].”

Skin lightning and exfoliating scrub

A fair skin has always been an attraction for Indians. The following paste used to be applied to the body to make the skin a shade or two lighter and give it a natural glow – “Pound together The root of Kosta [Kooth or Kushtha, English name: Costus.][6] (Saussurea lappa Clarke.), Til seeds (Sessamum indicum Linn.), the leaves of Sirisa (Albizzia lebbek Benth.), the leaves of Chopda (Pongamia pinnata Pierr.), the wood ofDevdar (Cedrus deodara Roxb.) and the wood of Zadali Haled (Berberis aristata DC.) Roast this mixture between dried cakes of Buffalo dung, then take it out and grind it properly to a fine powder. If the paste made from this compound is applied to the body for three consecutive days, the above mentioned desired results will be obtained”.

Cure for dandruff

“Pound khas-khas seeds (Papaver somniferum Linn.) in milk and apply to the scalp. It will cure dandruff”.[5]

Rejuvenation process (Kayakalpa)

A very famous rejuvenation treatment called Kayakalpa used to be practiced. The meaning of the word is to make a person look young, bring about a change in the color of the hair and texture of the skin, improve the eyesight and so forth. “Take equal quantities of Kadunimba (Azadirachta indica Juss.) leaves, Maka (Eclipta alba Haask.) leaves, Mundi [Gorakhmundi]  (Sphaeranthus indicus Linn.) leaves, Nirgundi [Nagoda, Nirgundi and Nirgunda (Vitex negundo Linn.)leaves and Vova (Carum copticum Benth.) leaves.

Dry all the 5 ingredients in the shade. Then powder this mixture. Take internally two pinches of this powder twice a day. While the subject is under this treatment, the diet should mainly consist of milk and rice only. Quite soon the person will look younger, the skin will become lustrous and even the grey hair will turn black”.

Depilatory

The presence of hair on arms, face, legs and pubic area, was considered an eyesore, and certain formulae were practiced to remove them.

“Pound together dried fruits of Aavalakatti (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) and dried fruits of Pimpali (Piper longum Linn.). Soak this mixture in the milky latex of Nivadunga (Cactus: Euphorbia nivulia Ham.) If this compound is applied to the desired place, the hair from that area will fall off”.[5]

Breast developers

“Powder together the root of Aswagandha (Withania somnifera Dunal.), the fruit of Gajapimpali(Scindapsus officinalis Schott.), the root of Kosta (Saussurea lappa Clarke.), and the rhizomes of Vekhanda[Vekhanda, English name: Sweet flag. (Acorus calamus Linn.). To this powder add butter made from buffalo’s milk and massage the bust with this medicated butter. This will increase the bustline and make it firm and shapely”.

Some more formulae from other sources, earlier than 18th and 19th cent A.D. include the following:

Face pack

“Take Masura—a lentil common in India (Lens culinaris Medic.) and pound with Madhu (Honey). The paste so prepared, rubbed for seven nights, gives the splendor of the petals of the white lotus flower to the face”.

Cure for pimples

“The application of plaster composed of Kustumburu [Dhana, Dhania, English name: Coriander](Coriandrum sativum Linn.), Vacha or Vekhanda (Acorus calamus Linn.), Lodhra [Lodhar, Lodhra. English name: The Lodh tree] (Symplocos racemosa Roxb.) and Kushtha or Kosta (Saussurea lappa Clarke.) pasted together is also recommended for curing pimples”

Mouth freshener

I quote a verse translated from Sanskrit: “Oh! beautiful damsel, make fragrant quickly, Poog-phala i.e.Supari or Betel nut (Areca catechu Linn.), for rulers of the earth (Kings) by mixing together Kushtha(Saussurea lappa Linn.), Tagara (Valeriana wallichii DC.), Jatiphala (Myrstica fragrans Houtt.), Karpoora(Cinnamomum camphora Nees and Eberm.), Lavanga (Syzygium aromaticum Merrill and Perry.) and Ela(Ellettaria cardamomum Maton)”

Cure for lice and nits

“On tying the head with a piece of cloth dipped in the juice of Phanivalli (Piper betel Linn.) or ‘Paan” leaves, to which has been added Paratda (Mercury), lice and nits would be finished off.

General hair remedy and cure for the prematurely graying

“Juice of Bhringaraja or Maka (Eclipta alba Hassk.), together with Lohakitta (Iron-rust: Non-botanical. Iron oxide, normally Red oxide.), Phalatrikam or Triphala = Collection of three fruits, viz. Harada [Hirda, English name: Chebulic myrobalan (Terminalia chebula retz.), Beheda [Behada, English name: Belleric myrobalan][6] (Terminalia bellerica retz.) and Avala [Amla, English name: Emblic myrobalan (Phyllanthus emblica Gaertn.), cooked in oil when applied (to the scalp), would cure dandruff, itching, alopecia and would also darken the hair, which have become grey prematurely.

Deodorant powder

“The powder from the barks of Sahakara [Aam, Amba, English name: Mango][17] (Mangifera indica Linn.) tree and Dadima [Dadim, Dalimba; English name: Pomegranate][17] (Punica granatum Linn.) tree, mixed with Shankha (Fragrant Shell) powder and applied to the relevant part of the body, removes bad odour. The powder made of Chincha (Tamarindus indica Linn.) and Karanja (Pongamia glabra Vent.) seeds, if applied also removes bad odour.[19,20]

Examples of above given formulae serve to give some idea of Ancient Indian researchers and their contribution to Indian Medical Lore.

The research involved in this work was to compile the cosmetic formulae from various sources and then to find the proper equivalent botanical names for the Sanskrit and Prakrit terminologies (For the ingredients used in the formulae). This was done with the help of native people and experienced vaidyas in South India and Maharashtra. Identification was done by studying the properties of the plant and if these plant names were the actual ingredients used.

Some of the formulae are still in use by some rural women in the interiors of India. Some formulae are in use even today by vaidyas practicing the Ayurveda branch of medicine.

This study forms mainly an ethnobotanical contribution to our knowledge and is hoped that it forms the basis for further chemical, clinical and allied investigations in the cosmetic and therapeutic aspects of the Indian botanicals.

Food-Info.net> E-numbers > E600-700

E635 : Sodium ribonucleotides

Origin:
Mixture of sodium salts of guanylic (E626) and inosinic acid (E630).Function & Characteristics:
Flavour enhancer. Guanylates and inosinates do not have the specific umami taste but strongly enhance many other flavours, thereby reducing the amounts of salt or other flavour enhancers needed in a product.

Products:
Used in many products. Mainly used in low sodium/salt products.

Acceptable daily intake (ADI):
None determined. Guanylates and inosinates may not be used in products intended for children under 12 weeks.

Side effects:
Asthmatic people should avoid guanylates and inosinates. As guanylates and inosinates are metabolised to purines, they should be avoided by people suffering from gout. However, the concentrations used are generally so low that no effects are to be expected.

Dietary restrictions:
Guanylates and inosinates are generally produced from meat, but partly also from fish. They are thus not suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and in most cases not suitable for Jews, Muslims and Hindus, depending on the origin of the product. Only the producer can provide information on the origin.”

Beware Maggi Lovers : Cooking Maggi Noodles in wrong way is very dangerous for health.

There is a certain way to cook maggi. You may be thinking whats new in this but the cooking process which is shown behind the packet maybe right but it is surely harmful to your body because maggi noodles are coated with Wax which harms us and takes 3 to 4 days to excrete the wax which is harmful. The ingredient called Msg can make you fat and fat people kknow how much difficult it is to loose their weight. Maggi should not be given to young children as they are also harmful to them.

Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for around 3 minutes and then it’s ready to eat. This is the WRONG way and dangerous method of cooking the instant noodles like Maggi. By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structure of the MSG, causing it to be toxic. The other thing that you may or may not realize is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have eaten the noodles.

CORRECT METHOD OF COOKING MAGGI:

The correct way to cook instant noodles without harming our bodies and health is
1. Boil the noodles in a pot of water.
2. Once the noodles are cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax.
3. Boil another pot of water, add the cooked noodles into the hot boiling water and then turn off the stove.
4. Only at this stage when the stove is off, and while the water is very hot, add the flavouring powder into the water, to make noodle soup.
5. However, if you need dry noodles, remove the noodles and add the flavoring powder and toss it to get dry noodles.

2. Maggi is non vegetarian

Maggi contains MSG (Monosodium glutamate) used as a flavor enhancer, which is made? using Bactosoytone, itself made from soy protein using a catalyst enzyme porcine (taken from intestine of Pig). Chemically, catalyst never goes in the molecular structure of Bactosoytone, hence it’s Vegetarian for Nestle. MSG as such is harmful to health. Maggi also launched no-MSG series known as Vegetable Atta-Maggie, but that’s just a makeover.

Atta Maggie contains? DSG (DiSodium Glutamate), which does contain Bactosoytone. Not written in ingredients as such, hidden under alias Flavor-627. Maggi also contains flavour enhancers E 631 and E 635. Also a huge number of popular packed foods such as Magginoodles, biscuits etc and even other products such as toothpaste, soaps etc contain animal fat in them, that too, mostly PIG FAT.

“Disodium glutamate is produced from dried fish or dried seaweed and is often added to instant noodles, potato chips and other snacks, savouryrice, tinned vegetables, cured meats, and packaged soup”.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG – E621) is a flavor enhancer commonly added to Chinesefood, canned vegetables, soups and processed meats.

The following table indicates additives which are always derived from animals.

E Number Additive Name
120 Cochineal, Carminic acid, Carmines Natural Red 4 – colouring
A colouring that makes many foods red. Found in alcoholic drinks, fruit pie fillings, jams, many sweets and even cheeses. Cochineal is made from the female insect found on cacti called Dactylopius Coccus. She is boiled alive or left to “cook” alive through sun exposure. Cochineal is the result of crushing scales of the insect into a red powder.
441 Gelatine – Emulsifier / Gelling Agent
You may not find this E number 441 on food ingredients listings anymore because instead of an additive, Gelatine has now been classed as food (made of animal skin and hoofs) in it’s own right. Remember, all types of gelatine are animal based and can be found in dairy products like yoghurts, plus many kinds of confectionery, jellies and other sweets.
542 Bone phosphate – Anti-caking agent
631 Disodium inosinate – Flavour enhancer
Almost always made from animals and fish
635 Disodium 5′-ribonucleotides – Flavour enhancer
Often made from animals
901 Beeswax – white and yellow – Glazing Agent
Not suitable for Vegans.
966 Lactitol – Sweetener
Derived from Lactose, commercially prepared using whey, so unsuitable for vegans.

The video belows shows the dangers of Monosodium glutamate (MSG)

The Dangers of MSG – Part 1 ‘The Hidden Danger in Your Food’ (Flavor Enhancers E621 side effects)

FOOD ADDITIVE CODE BREAKER & SIDE EFFECTS – FLAVOR ENHANCERS, MSG

Number Name Comments
E620 L-Glutamic acid might cause similar problems as MSG(621), young children should avoid it
E621 Monosodium glutamate (MSG) can be an allergen, not permitted in foods for infants and young children
E622 Monopotassium glutamate can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea , abdominal cramps. Typical products are low sodium salt substitutes
E627 Disodiumguanylate not permitted in foods for infants and young children
E631 Disodium inosinate not permitted in foods for infants and young children
E635 Sodium 5’ribonucleotide not permitted in Australia

(Source)Why used in maggi ??

Pigs skin juice is used for bringing taste to maggi ans other flavour enhancers are listed in the above tables which play an important role in bringing the taste to the Maggi.

Simple experiment to try at home if you are non vegetarian:-
Boil chicken maggi soup powder and vegetarian maggi noodles masala powder

After boiling, taste both of them. They will taste the same.

3. Why Jain and Vaishnav people can’t eat Maggi??

People who follow jain and vaishnav religion can’t eat Maggi because it contains Onion and Garlic powder in it.

4. Other Foods which contains animals

  • Albumen: This is the white of egg and is commonly used on bread and confectionary.
  • Ajinomoto: Made from fish. Used as a sauce or in Chinese food.
  • Cheese: Most foreign cheeses are made by using stomach acids obtained from the slitting the stomachs of calves while alive.
  • Chewing gum: Usually made of vegetable gum but may contain glycerine, gelatine, stearic acid and emulsifiers of animal origin. Check on the label.
  • Chips: Always fried in animal fat abroad at all fast food eateries. Packaged Indian crisps must specify that they are cooked in vegetable oils or assume that they are not.
  • Chocolates: The most commonly used animal ingredients in chocolates are egg white, egg lecithin, shellac and gelatine. Nestle’s Kitkat is made of calf rennet. Turkish Delight, fruit rolls, toffees, marshmallows, jujubes, peppermints usually contain gelatine. Polo Mints contain beef. So do most Western sweets that come in via the Middle East. Smarties contain cochineal.
  • Colas: May use ester gum as emulsifiers. Ester gum’s main ingredient is glycerol. Coca Cola admits to using glycerine.
  • Ice-cream: Unless specifically listed as vegetarian, the ice cream contains eggs and gelatine obtained by boiling cattle udders, noses and anuses. Amul and Baskin Robbins are vegetarian.
  • Jam: Jammay contain gelatine
  • Jelly: Jelly is always made of gelatine. In fact the word jelly is a short form of gelatine. A few companies make it from vegetable gum and mark it as vegetarian jelly. Look for the label.
  • Varakh: This is made by beating silver between fresh hot cow/buffalo intestines. Each piece of varakh contains specks of intestine.
  • Riboflavin: This is used as a orange-yellow colouring agent. It is obtained from egg yolk or liver. It can also come from vegetables but that is expensive. Check with the manufacturer.
  • Worcester Sauce: It contains small fish called anchovies.

Why Ayush Mruthyunjaya Homas

The Blessing , Aaseervatha Mantra states,

Sree varchasvam ayushyam aarogyam maavithaath

Sobamanam maheeyanthe

Dhaanyam Dhanam pasum bahuputra laabham

Satha samvathsarm dheeragamaayuhu.

The blessings start with auspicious life.

The rest come later.

Once born it is the desire of one is to live as long as possible.

Dheergayus means a life span of 120 years in Kali Yuga, though it is mentioned as Satha Samvathsaram( 100 years)

Life depends on , contrary to what many think, wholly external forces not in our control,be it the air we beathe, water ,earth, fire and the ether.

We take these for granted.

We would appreciate them only in their absence.

The human body is made up of the five elements that make up the Cosmos.

We are nothing but a reflection, photocopy of the Cosmis in miniature.

One is likely to lead a longer life if these five elements in the Cosmos and in our bodies sync.

If there is a variation, one falls sick and in serious maladjustments one leaves the body.

While we strive to be tuned into Nature’s Rhythm, Nature should also cooperate.

That is not in our hands.

As we are nothing but the Cosmos in a small scale, our chitta ( higher plane over mind and intellect) should will for longevity.

By self tuning the Chitta one controls the Cosmos and its Principles.

This is Yoga.

This fine tuning can be done by chanting, listening to mystically locked sounds called Mantras.

And the propitiator of life , Agni, Fire carries the power of the Mantras to the other elements ,which being the same for us and the Cosmos ignites our Chitta.

And longevity is assured if the Homa Rites are performed correctly, as prescribed in the texts.

There are two types of Homas for Longevity.

The Ayush Homa and

The Mrutyanjaya Homa.

mahamritunjay-mantra

Maha Mrutunjaya Mantra.

Though they seem to address the same issue, Longevity there is a minor differnce.

While Ayush Homa increases the Life span in general, the Mrutunjaya Homa addresses the issue of ill health and diseases.

It is one thing to attain Longevity but Disease free Life is another..

It is advisable to perform both at the same time.

It is ordained in the Smriti that these Homas are to be performed every year for a child upto to the age of Five.

And one can have this  performed any time in during one’s life till one reaches Sixty.

For them these are performed in Sashtiapthapoorthy and Sathabhishekam.

Mruthyunjaya Homa.

Maha Mruthyunjaya Homam is dedicated to Lord Shiva to avoid untimely death. The Mruthyunjaya Homam is performed to achieve Jaya or Victory over Mritya or death. The object of worship of this homa is Lord Shiva. One of the synonyms of Lord Shiva is Mrityu. Mrityu which means death of the death or the destroyer of death. During this homa one chants 21 mantras. The prominent offerings in this homa are durva grass and an herb called amrita.

The former is famous for purifying blood and the latter is used as a medicine for in a, it is believed that this homam bestows longevity on the performer. The hymns are devoted curable diseases like arbuda or cancer. Since these are used as offerings in this hom to Mrityu, the God of death, praying for long life. These hymns are used in the purnahuti or the final offering in the famous Soma sacrifice. This homa also alleviates Mrityu dosha or untimely death.Dedicated to Lord Shiva to avoid untimely death The Mrityunjaya Homa is performed to achieve Jaya or Victory over Mritya or death.

And growth is dependent on Protein intake.

Growth hormone (GH), also known as somatotropin (or as human growth hormone [hGH or HGH] in its human form), is apeptide hormone that stimulates growth, cell reproduction, and cell regeneration in humans and other animals. It is thus important inhuman development. It is a type of mitogen which is specific only to certain kinds of cells. Growth hormone is a 191-amino acid, single-chain polypeptide that is synthesized, stored, and secreted by somatotropic cells within the lateral wings of the anterior pituitary gland.

How does this enhance Growth?

  • Increases calcium retention, and strengthens and increases the mineralization of bone
  • Increases muscle mass through sarcomere hypertrophy
  • Promotes lipolysis
  • Increases protein synthesis
  • Stimulates the growth of all internal organs excluding the brain
  • Plays a role in homeostasis
  • Reduces liver uptake of glucose
  • Promotes gluconeogenesis in the liver.
  • Contributes to the maintenance and function of pancreatic islets
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Increases deiodination of T4 to T3.

Deficiency of Protein result  in Growth Failure and short stature among children.

It also causes delayed sexual maturity.

And an unsound and subnormal growth might result in mental issue as well.

GH( growth deficiency) deficiency  in adults may manifest as depression.

To cure this GH deficiency GH Therapy is undertaken and its effects are yet to be proved.

Poultry products have their own richness. These foods are rich in protein and contain low saturated fats. Some of the varieties of poultry products are:

  1. Chicken
  2. Duck
  1. Goose
  2. Turkey
  3. Ground chicken and turkey
  4. Eggs ( chicken/ duck)

Soya Products

Soya products are the processed products of Soy. They are naturally blended with proteins and carbohydrates. Some of the soya products are:

Dairy Products

Dairy products are naturally healthy and are perfect diet parts. There are various dairy products that can be used. They are:

  2. Black beans
  3. Black eyed peas
  4. Chick peas

  7. Soy beans
  8. White beans and etc

It is advisable to take protein supplements as a part of our diet.

These should have adequate proteins and excess proteins should have been compensated and this supplement must be easily digestible.

Are these Supplements safe?

Objective

To determine the effect of nutritional supplementation on height, weight, and body mass index (BMI) in short and lean prepubertal children.

Study design

A prospective, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial of nutritional supplementation at the endocrinology department of a tertiary pediatric medical center of healthy, lean, short, prepubertal children 3-9-years-old. Anthropometry measurements were measured at 6 months.

Results

Two hundred participants (149 boys) entered the study and 171 (85.5%) completed the intervention period. Baseline characteristics including age, sex, height-SDS, weight-SDS, BMI-SDS, and dietary caloric and protein intakes were similar in the formula and placebo groups. ‘Good’ consumers (intake of ≥50% of the recommended dose) in the formula group significantly improved height-SDS (P < .001) and weight-SDS (P = .005) with no change in BMI-SDS compared with ‘poor’ consumers and the placebo group. In the formula-treated group a positive correlation was found between the amount of formula consumed per body weight and the gain in height-SDS (r = 0.44, P < .001) and weight-SDS (r = 0.35, P = .002); no significant correlations were found in the placebo group. No serious adverse events were reported during the study.

Conclusions

Nutritional intervention with the formula was found to be a feasible, effective, and safe approach for promoting the physical growth of short and lean prepubertal children.

Horlicks seems to fit the bill.

I have been watching people consuming it for as long a I remember and I recall doctors prescribing it to convalescents, including pregnant women both pre natal and post natal.

And with added flavor children do not shy away from it.

Rahu Graha.

Rahu represents many ill aspects in general. Rahu is identified with Black Cobra, poison, Zircon, black magic, gambling, black gram, black stone, blade grass (Dhruva in Hindi) menial jobs, slavery, all sorts of skin ailments, venereal deceases, impotency, childlessness, jail/imprisonments etc etc. In short this planet mostly gives only negative results when it is ill placed in one’s horoscope.

If Rahu is placed in the fifth house from Lagna or Ascendant, then the native is most likely (he/she) childless and in some cases only female issues and surely no male child. If there is any conjunction with other planet, this result may, however, vary.

Likewise, if this planet is placed in the 6th house, the native is likely to suffer from skin ailments, skin burns, dryness, sore skin etc. That too when the Rahu Dasa is running; and if Rahu is transiting through the 6th house, then ill effects are sure to be there and critical too.

To weed off the negative aspects of this planet, there are many remedial suggestions given in the ancient astrology. One such suggestion is to consume the essence of the Blade Grass daily, about three to five tea spoonfuls, for a consecutive 48 days. This way one gets his/her blood purified and the skin ailment vanishes. This medicinal remedy is so powerful that I have seen people getting better after consuming it.

Milk You Drink Toxic Great Milk Conspiracy.

$

0

When I was young, we had, in our home, a cow.

Later we used to buy from the Yadavas, they are called ‘ konars’ in Tamil.

They had even a street named after them and they lived there.

They used to supply milk to homes.

They shall also supply Curds, Buttermilk.

But Ghee , we used to make Butter and get Ghee.

Hybrid, Indian cow.
Hybrid and Indian cow

They also used to deliver Milk from A Cow, which delivered just then.

This is called Seempaal and was used from some illnesses.

The taste of the freshly obtained milk is something to be tasted.

Frothing and with a delicious Aroma the coffee one makes from this fresh milk can not be compared with anything.

There was also the practice of preparing Coffee with Cow’s fresh Milk.

The Milk was not boiled , the body heat of the Cow in the Milk would do.

This is the origin of Kumbakonam Degree Coffee, which is matchless.

Now we have lost all these.

We buy Packets of Milk with no taste.

We do not know if it is Cow’s or Buffaloes.

It is a mixture of all, with stabilising agents.

Not only it is not tasty but it is outright harmful to health.

Then why the promotion of branded Milk?

Simple answer, Greed for money.

Systematic conspiracy to wipe out indigenous breeds and make India dependent on foreign sources as Monsanto has done for Agriculture.

The Ban on Jallikkattu is a part of this great milk conspiracy.

Study by New Zealand Research Group and NDRI , confirm that the Milk from crossbreeds are not only harmful but lowers Immunity ans may even cause Cancer.

New Zealand researchers claimed that A1 milk contains beta-caesin which is harmful for human beings and leads to diseases like diabetes, cancer and a weakening of the immune system. The results of the NDRI research also indicated that A1 milk that is served to infants and old age people damages the immune system. AK Srivastava, Director, NDRI, Karnal, tells Indiaopines, “In India, the experiment conducted six months ago on animals indicated that A1 milk caused immunity problems. But as of now we have to wait further for a credible source…

What is A1 and A2 milk?

Both A1 and A2 varieties of milk are the product of two genetically different cow breeds. The main proteins available in this milk are whey and casein. Earlier all cows used to be A2 until a naturally occurring genetic mutation in European breeds changed the genetics of milk producing cow herds. And today most of the milk that we consume comes from the A1 variety.

Research in New Zealand on the A1 and A2 breeds showed that casein is most abundant overall, and the genetic variations of the A1 and A2 refer to the beta-casein. Beta-caseins can have a helpful effect on the body. But drinking A1 milk may not be so helpful.

A1 versus A2

Milk of European breeds is addictive, triggers schizophrenia, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases

In July 2007, Dr Keith Woodford, a professor of farmmanagement at New Zealand’s Lincoln Universitypublished a paper titled A2 Milk, Farmer Decisions, and Risk Management that reported how “approximately 500 New Zealand dairy farmers are converting their herds to eliminate production of A1 beta-casein within the milk” responsible for “Type 1 diabetes, heart disease and autism”.

Dr Woodford went on to explain: “The alternative (to A1) is A2 beta-casein, and the associated milk is known as A2 milk. Originally all cow milk was of the A2 type. However, a genetic mutation, probably between 5000 and 10,000 years ago, has resulted in a proportion ofcows of European breeds producing a casein variant called A1 beta-casein. A1 beta-casein is absent in the milk of pure Asian and African cattle.”

He offered “eight strands to the evidence” to the ill-effects of A1 beta-casein: countries with high intakes of A1 beta-casein are the countries with high levels of Type 1 diabetes and heart disease; A1 and A2 beta-caseindigest differently and only A1 beta-casein releases beta-casomorphin7 (BCM7) which is a powerful opioid(addictive) and causes arterial plaque; rabbits fed A1 beta-casein develop considerably more plaque on their aorta and rats show higher incidence of Type 1 diabetes;evidence from American and European investigationsshow that autistic and schizophrenic persons typically excrete large quantities of BCM7 in their urine; and many who are intolerant to milk are able to drink A2 milk.

Dr Woodford was worried that most consumers and dairy farmers worldwide remained unaware of the issues surrounding A1 and A2 milk. Within four years, Indian scientists at the National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR) came up with their own study. “The A2 allele gene in Indian milk breeds of cows and buffalos are 100 per cent, while in foreign breeds, it is around 60 per cent,” it said in 2011.

NBAGR screened the status of the A2 allele of the beta-casein gene in 22 indigenous breeds and the twodominant foreign breeds Holstein Friesian and Jersey. While the A2 allele was 100 per cent in the top five indigenous milch breeds –Red Sindhi, Sahiwal,Tharparkar, Gir and Rathi – and around 94 per cent in other indigenous dual and draught breeds, its status was merely 60 per cent in Holstein Friesian and Jersey.

According to Dr Woodford, the major consumer market for A2 milk is in Australia where it is available in some 800 supermarkets and 200 convenience stores. However, overall market share is probably less than 1% because of limited publicity. In an increasingly health conscious world, this creates a huge potential for global demand for the A2 milk of our indigenous breeds. For now, we must rethink our strategy of flooding the domestic markets with A1 milk by aggressively pushing exotic breeds at home and opening up the dairy sector toforeign brands.

( source. http://www.tehelka.com/2013/01/the-desi-cow-almost-extinct/?singlepage=1

When we drink the milk of an A1 cow, the body breaks it down to produce high levels of a molecule that is not a healthy sign. This is a bioactive opioid peptide and morphine-related compound called beta casomorphin-7 (BCM7). While A2 milk also causes some of this morphine molecule to be produced, it is negligible ascompared to A1 milk. BCM7 is a very active molecule in our body….

Once in our blood stream, this creates opioid oxidize cholesterol at a high rate, which may be one reason for its link to heart disease. Animal studies have singled out BCM7 since it creates inflammatory reactions in the small intestines. It also changes the hormonal function, as well as affects the nervous and immune system. BCM7 will cause brain fog, poor thinking, and problems with sleep.

These neurologic issues may also be a factor in the concerns with schizophrenia and autism. The ischemic heart disease is the most common cause of death in the majority of countries. A study New Zealand study looking at 20 affluent countries clearly shows higher rates of death from a type of heart disease called ischemic heart disease in A1 milk drinkers, while the A2 variety shows lower cardiovascular problems and type-I diabetes.

Earlier there were no human trial results to check the claims of A1 and A2 milk. But on August 11, 2014 the Curtin University of Australia published a report in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition by Associate Professor Sebely Pal of the School of Public Health. The report found that humans on an A2 milk diet had less bloating abdominal pain and firmer stools since they stayed off the A1 beta casein. The tests were carried out on 41 persons for eight weeks…..

Anurag Tomer, counsel for Swami Achutyanand, tells Indiaopines, The civil writ petition said that 80 percent of milk provided to consumers in India was adulterated and not safe for human consumption. The petitioner also gave the court a copy of the FSSAI survey report claiming that 68.4 percent of milk in the Indian market was adulterated with the synthetic and detergent materials which were hazardous for health. The Bench of Justice KS Radhakrishnan and Justice Vikramjit Sen took the matter seriously and then hearing of the case began in the month of December 2013.”

Anurag further says, “In the meantime we pointed out to the court that the punishment awarded in India for food adulteration is insufficient. So the apex court in December issued a notice to the Union of India and all the States asking them to bring a suitable amendment in Section 276 of the Indian Penal Code and also suggested the Government to increase the provision of punishment from six months to a life term.

During the hearing of the case the apex court was also informed about the Allahabad High Court Judgment on where in a similar case the court stated that since the Food Safety Standard Act could take care of all the matters related to food adulteration. Section 276 of the IPC cannot be applied in this.

After the writ petition a counter affidavit was filed by the Director of the Food Safety Authority on behalf of the Union of India in the SC on March 10, 2014 admitting that in the year 2011 a survey was conducted nationwide by the FSSAI. The survey said that 68.4 per cent of milk which was collected from various States was found adulterated with detergents.

The deviations were found highest on account of Fat and SNF content in 574 samples (46.8%) of the total non-conformity, including 147 samples with detergents and two samples with neutrilizers, respectively. Detergent was also found in 103 samples (8.4%). The second highest parameter of non-conformity was the skim milk powder (SMP) in 548 samples (44.69%) including glucose in 477 samples. Glucose is added in milk to probably enhance SNF.

Mohan Singh Ahluwalia, President of Gwala Gaddi, an organization fighting to save native desibreed cows across the country and provide pure milk to the consumers with more than seven lakh twenty thousand members across the country and also the petitioner along with Swami Achutyanand, tells Indiaopines,

People are losing their faith in milk now. The present condition is very serious as a single person is making a brand of itself and we are against it. Our movement mainly deals with the interests of consumers and we are demanding that pure milk be served to people.” Ahluwalia further says, “Currently there is no law which deals with the standard of milk as in the government guideline it is not clear how to achieve standards whether in a natural way or in an artificial way. Thus all the companies and dairies across the country are doing a black business of impure milk and making huge profits. And Government of India is the part of this conspiracy with its millions of consumers.

We drink toxic milk.

Indian milk and cross breeds milk comparison
Protein chain showing Amino acids A 1 and A 2 beta_ casein.

‘The milk you get from Aavin and other companies are toxic A1 milk. Cow’s milk contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates (in the form of lactose), minerals and water. There are two types of cow’s milk : A1 & A2. The main difference between the A1 & A2 milk is their protein component. The protein is of two types : Casein and Whey. There are different types of casein proteins and one particular type is called the BETA-CASEIN which has two variations : A1 & A2. The A1 beta casein is a highly toxic component while the A2 is harmless and safe. Your mother’s milk is A2 and so is the Indian cow’s. It has micronutrients like cytokines and minerals which enhances your immune system. But the western cow’s milk which we drink today, is highly toxic and not suitable for human consumption. ..

Bottom line is, once people drink milk, the western cow’s milk (which contains A1 beta casein) digests differently than the Indian Cow’s milk (which has A2 beta casein). With the A1 beta casein, there’s a release of a ‘peptide’ which a small fragment of protein called ” Beta-Caso-Morphin-7 ” the devil in the milk.
The BCM7 is an opioid (psychoactive chemical) and when it gets through from the stomach into the blood, it can cause all sorts of problems. The human body simply doesn’t like this opioid and it tries to react against it, and depending on the individual’s genetic make up, one could get all sorts of diseases ranging from juvenile diabetes, autism, allergies and etc. To make it worse, BCM7 crosses the Blood Brain Barrier. Which means, it could get in to your brain, resulting in schizophrenia and auto-immune diseases such as MS and Parkinson’s. In children, it could cause several issues for their psychomotor and physical development (a recent study made by Russian scientists has confirmed this).
The west has now woken up to the truth and more and more people are going to A2 milk. This has made the western diary industry nervous. So they’re in the process of converting their useless, toxic A1 cows to A2 cows. They come to India for the A2 cow embryos as a result of which, now some of our wonderful native breeds like the Punganur and Vechur cows are nearly extinct. And thanks to the lack of a mechanism to check the illegal export of embryos at Indian sea ports, they’re doing this with no issues. Today we see western humpless cow in indian diaries , and Indian humped cow in western diaries. Aavin and other milks we get in India now is the toxic A1 kind…

Mantra Temple For Continuous High Fever Kooduthurai Bhavani

Many have written asking me whether there is any alternative because chanting of Indrakshi Siva Kavacham is difficult and the procedure is arduous.

My observation is that we are prepared to follow the instructions of a doctor, though at times, it has no relevance to the problem and the medicine prescribed might be totally irrelevant.

We are cured, in my opinion, because of our faith in the doctor.

Then why don’t we follow the same approach towards Mantras and Pariharas?

There is a Temple and a specific Mantra for high fever.

The Sangameshwara Temple, Kooduthurai , near Bhavaani.

Nearest Railway Station/Bus Station.  Erode.

Airport, Coimbatore.

Temple timings 630 am to 12noon and from 4to 8 pm.

The temple has a Jurahareswara(Lord of Fever, Shiva)

You may visit the temple after you chant the Mantra provided towards the close of this article.

Jurahareshwara with three heads, three arms and three legs is found only in a few temples in Tamilnadu. He is found here in a seperate shrine and interestingly the dwarapalakas in this shrine also have three heads, arms and legs. Offering Rice, Pepper Rasam, and Araikeerai Kootu (Greens with Dhal) to the Lord is said to relieve people of fever and other ailments.

Chanting of

“Bhasmayudhaaya Vidhmahe

Raktha Netraaya Dheemahi

Thanno Jurahara Prachodhayaath”

and worshipping him with Bilva leaves, while offering pepper and cummin seeds is said to relieve people of chronic gastric ailments. have written on Indrakshi Shiva Kavacham for curing fever. ‘

Chant the mantra for 108 times day with the fingers of your right hand touching A little quantity of Vibhuthi, Bhasma placed in front of you in a small plate.

After chanting apply the Vibhuthi on the sick person’s forehead.
